Overview

The part-time Benefits Assistant will play an important role in the support of MANAs Benefits Administrator and Physician Services. This position will coordinate the scheduling process for both Physician and Employee Annual Open Enrollment. This person will also be responsible for responding to benefit related inquiries in a timely manner and serve as the point of contact for WEX Medical FSA for physicians and employees.

How to Apply

To apply for a position at any MANA Clinic, you must complete a MANA employment application. Applicants may list the position(s) they are interested in applying on the application and only need to complete one application.

Applications are reviewed by the Human Resources Department at the MANA Administrative Office and are shared with the clinic managers. Applications are kept in our database for managers to review for six (6) months.  MANA is an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Human Resources and Physician Services departments with the following duties that include but are not limited to:
    • Responding to benefit-related HR support tickets
    • Submit COBRA qualifying events and other WEX duties
    • Reach out to employees who have experienced a status change that impacts benefit eligibility
  • Assist the Human Resources and Physician Services departments with Annual Open Enrollment duties include  but are not limited to:
    • Keeping track of November and December paper enrollments
    • Reach out to employees who are on leave during AOE
    • Handle any QLEs that come in during this time

Qualifications

  • Vaccination against COVID-19 is an essential function of the job; religious and medical exemptions will be granted in accordance with applicable state and federal law
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior Human Resource experience and/or training with a emphasis in Benfits welcomed, but not required
