Overview

We are looking for a Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant.   We are a well-established family medicine clinic located in the heart of Springdale.  Our staff are consistently recognized by our patients as being professional, caring and efficient; our physicians are very supportive of staff as well.  If you would like to be a part of a team where your hard work and skills will be utilized and appreciated, this may be the job for you!!

 

The CMA to the Physician is responsible for providing direct or indirect care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic Medical Assistant principals, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physician in setting up for procedures and exams, revising daily schedules; obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating lab tests and X-ray reports
  • Ensure that patient chart/EMR entries are made accurately and in a timely manner
  • Notify hospital or personnel of physician's orders
  • Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
