Overview

The Medical Scribe will assist the physician by documenting in EHR all information pertaining to patient health encounter in a timely manner and will ensure protection of patient confidentiality. This position will perform various duties associated with routine patient encounters, maintain positive relationships with physicians, patients, family members, visitors and fellow employees.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate patient data entry in a timely manner
  • Have a positive interaction with patients
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of medical terminology
  • Assist the physician with letters and patient questionnaires

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 12 – 18 months related experience and/or training
