Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be supporting the Rheumatology physicians with ensuring departmental flow, revising daily schedules to ensure results and records are available, and triaging patients appropriately.

Responsibilities

  • Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow and schedule acute patient appointments appropriately
  • Work with reception to schedule work-ins and ASAP appointments in a timely manner
  • Communicate with reception changes to provider’s schedule
  • Ensure records and results are given to physician for review

Qualifications

  • Graduate certificate from accredited LPN Program/School of Nursing
  • 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Active LPN license
