Overview

NWA Pediatrics is looking for a Business Office Assistant who has an understanding of medical records, referrals, physician & patient scheduling and Medicaid. This position will float and assist as needed for any back office employee such as the Business Office Manager and Clinic Director.

Responsibilities

  1. Assisting medical records personnel by scanning and sourcing sensitive information. 
  2. Assisting the Medicaid Referral Coordinator with referral responsibilities and coordination.
  3. Assisting the Therapy Referral Coordinator with referral responsibilities and coordination.
  4. Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize patient communication, clinic work flow, and ongoing care.
  5. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months to 2 years of related experience preferred.
