Overview

NWA Psychiatry is looking for an as needed reception help and patient care assistant. The PRN Reception and Non-Certified Patient Care Assistant position is under the supervision of a registered nurse, LVN/LPN, and/or clinic manager. This position is responsible for checking in and bringing patients from the lobby to the appropriate examination room. This position obtains the patient's vital signs and documents them in the chart.  Hours will flex from week to week as needed and assigned.

How to Apply

To apply for a position at any MANA Clinic, you must complete a MANA employment application. Applicants may list the position(s) they are interested in applying on the application and only need to complete one application.

Applications are reviewed by the Human Resources Department at the MANA Administrative Office and are shared with the clinic managers. Applications are kept in our database for managers to review for six (6) months.  MANA is an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

  • Direct patient to proper exam/treatment room; prepare patients for examinations and other procedures
  • Assist physician with procedures as directed
  • Set up stock areas for daily use
  • Revise daily schedules to accommodate patient flow; obtain necessary charts and charge tickets
  • Clean exam rooms between patient visits and at the end of the shift

Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma/GED
  • 0 – 6 months experience and/or training
