Overview

The Radiology Technologist works under general supervision to assist the radiologists by performing diagnostic procedures for patients; works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel; and routes patients and/or their x-ray images the appropriate reading worklists.  Also performs diagnostic ekgs and assists the holter monitor tech by hookin gup patients with the monitors if monitor tech is unavailable. 

This PRN position will provide coverage for vacation and sick time, but has potential to transition to full time. 

Clinic Hours are 730-530 Mon-Fri. Our clinic has no night, weekend, or holiday hours.

How to Apply

Applications are reviewed by the Human Resources Department at the MANA Administrative Office and are shared with the clinic managers. Applications are kept in our database for managers to review for six (6) months.  MANA is an equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures as required; achieve a high level of film quality
  • Be observant for film artifacts and keep them to a minimum; clean cassettes as necessary
  • Obtain patient history as needed
  • Act as an agent to obtain radiologic information to aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a certified Radiologic Technology Program;  LLRT are invited to apply, however A.R.R.T. Certification strongly peferred, current CPR certification
  • 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
