How to Apply
To apply for a position at any MANA Clinic, you must complete a MANA employment application. Applicants may list the position(s) they are interested in applying on the application and only need to complete one application.
Applications are reviewed by the Human Resources Department at the MANA Administrative Office and are shared with the clinic managers. Applications are kept in our database for managers to review for six (6) months. MANA is an equal opportunity employer.
Patient Care
Greet and prepare patients for exams, record vital signs, and update medical history.
Assist providers with exams, procedures, and minor in-office treatments.
Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed.
Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Clinical Support
Maintain exam rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are clean and stocked.
Prepare and submit lab and diagnostic orders; follow up on test results.
Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
Manage patient phone calls and messages per provider protocols.
Handle prescription refills and prior authorizations as approved.
Administrative Duties
Schedule appointments, referrals, and follow-up visits as needed.
Support front office and nursing staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
Compliance & Safety
Follow infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines at all times.
Maintain RMA certification and participate in continuing education.
Report any patient safety or equipment issues promptly.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Certification: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT, or equivalent (CMA, CCMA).
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a family practice or primary care setting preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR), preferably Epic or similar.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Compassionate and professional bedside manner.
