Overview

The Laboratory Technologist works under general supervision to perform difficult and complex laboratory procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment.

Lab hours are Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm, this PRN position will cover varying hours based on clinic need.

Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical, microscopic, and hematologic, immunohematology, and microbiologic test to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease
  • Process and handle specimens appropriately
  • Calibrate and Run QC according to policies and procedures
  • Use computers for report handling and quality control

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree and Graduation from Accredited Clinical Laboratory Training Program OR Bachelors in Laboratory Science
  • 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
