The Patient Billing Coordinator performs various procedures associated with routine patient encounters, maintains positive relationships with patients, family members, visitors and fellow employees. Ensures all clinic staff are informed of policies and workflow changes as it relates to procedures that affect reimbursement. Communicates insurance and billing changes with appropriate staff. Manages the ques to ensure timely payment and claim submission. Liaison between patient billing advocates, physicians and patient to address patient billing concerns. Works closely with CBO staff to address any claim issues.
