NWA Pediatrics is looking for a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to lead our Fayetteville nursing team, with occasional travel to support our Pinnacle Hills location.
In this role, you’ll oversee scheduling, hiring, evaluations, and performance management, while working closely with our Clinical Operations Manager to support daily operations and team success. This role is a mix of leadership and hands-on care, with about 2–3 days each week working alongside the nursing team on the floor and 2–3 days focused on administrative responsibilities. Responsibilities:
1. Responsive to physician needs.
2. Provide support to Clinic Operations Manager.
3. Scheduling/schedule self
4. Provides supervision of personnel to include hiring, firing, employee counseling, disciplinary action, timely evaluations of direct reports, monitors/corrects time punches for assigned employees, approves employee payroll in the payroll system on a biweekly basis, schedule self in office 1-2 days per week, and provides coverage for the Business Office.
5. Coordinate education/check-offs for current staff.
6. Maintain CPR records/schedule training.
7. Work directly with billing department to review CPT and NDC coding to ensure clean claims so that timely filing can occur.
8. Performs duties of Registered Nurse.
9. Schedules self on the floor 3-4 days per week. Work on the floor to cover employees that are out of office for vacation, sick time, or medical leave as needed.
10. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
